DAE RIM	105 -  Kerosene Camping Stove - with silent burner - made in Korea about 1980 ?

With fuel guage, starting jet spray with flint lighter, burner wind shield.

Fill with 500ml kerosene, take note of tank fuel guage.

Open burner control 90 degrees.

Open filler cap half turn to release all pressure.

Fill preheat bowl with metho, & light metho with match.

Immediately metho burns out, approx 3 minutes, close filler cap, give 2 pumps

& light burner with match.

After 1 minute give 2 more pumps. After 2 minutes give 3 - 5 pumps.

Ready to cook. Burn time is 4 hours with 500ml kero.

Stove makes gentle hissing sound & burns with blue flame with occasional yellow wisps.

Burner will glow red.

Stove tank is warm but not hot, can be lifted with bare hands.

To turn off stove, pull up small release valve on filler cap to release pressure,

then undo filler cap half turn.



SAFETY

Use only kerosene. Don`t over fill with kerosene.

Use funnel with filter to keep dirt & water out of fuel.

Don`t pump more than 10 pumps per 30 minutes.

May need to preheat with metho 2 times if windy.

If burner starts with roaring sound, release pressure & preheat again with metho.

To simmer, adjust burner control with key, or release some pressure.

To transport, close filler cap, & burner control & check for leaks,

then put in carry can.

Remove cooking pots before pumping stove.

Remove cooking pots to stir food.

Position cooking pot handle over a support leg for more stability.

To clean burner jet, turn burner key anticlockwise 90 degrees, then back to cook.

To fill tank, stove must be turned off.

Diesel will work in emergency but does not vapourise properly, & can flare up.

Diesel burns with yellow flame, making pots sooty black.
